A timely review. In broadening the debate a wider range of inputs from Industry outside of the classical multi-nationals should be sought. The level of thought in the area of electronics and optoelectronics is encouraging. I would echo the comments on intrgration of nanoscale devices with the macro world and that understanding of interfacial phenomena and effects is going to be critical in commercialisation.
