• It addresses the right areas

• The observation that Britain lacks a nanotechnology strategy (or strategic framework) is important. Interestingly, Australia lacks one too - and it is becoming a real issue

• The definitional issues have been improved through your process; this is a good outcome

• The sections on the social/ethical positioning could have improved if a framework had been provided, e.g. from an ethics/social issue professional perspective. The discussion looked to have degenerated into an exchange and collation of opinions
