I would like to register an interest in nanotechlogy as a private individual.

My concern is that over-regulation of this field will lead to the UK losing out in this nascent field with consequent loss of revenue to British companies.

By all means have a public debate about the safety, ethical, legal and social implications, but don't over-regulate too soon.
